In 2023 we won a place to exhibit at the inaugural, unjudged, Sensory Pocket Planting area at the Hampton Court Garden Festival. "Firedance" was a 15sqm plot designed to attract children, adults and insects, and reflect the powerful, multi-sensory ways in which nature can envelop us. It was a feast of warm colours and tactile perennials, inviting all five senses to engage with the space. Weaving through the middle, a two-metre tall hand-woven willow wave glowed with warm shades of orange, yellow and brown, creating a curved screen that echoes the sonic swaying of the grasses.
