Meadow planting with orange flowers

The clients have lived in their home for over thirty years, with their children and now occasionally, grandchildren. They've reached a point where they want to tailor their garden to suit their own personalities and hobbies. We worked to accentuate different pockets within the garden, breaking up the space and providing areas of privacy. They wanted to create a secluded space where they can sit and relax on warmer days, which they can also admire from the windows of their home all year round. We created a spiritual seating space with a wildlife-friendly pond, and expanded their existing, angular beds to create an abundant and brightly coloured flowering border. We incorporated plants from the clients' wish lists, alongside wildlife and native friendly plants, ensuring the selection holds beauty even in winter - such as tall grasses and seedheads.
